Melbourne man Richard Bradley today sat down at a nondescript roulette table at Crown Casino, unknowingly entrusted with the task of paying off James Packer’s fine.
After a surprising early run of wins on black, Mr Bradley quickly settled in to accumulate the necessary losses to cover the $500 fine.
When told of his important contribution, Mr Bradley said he was humbled. “It was like 20 minutes of my time. I hardly even noticed,” he said.
Mr Bradley said he planned to spend the rest of the day making a contribution towards a new renovation at Mr Packer’s Bondi apartment.
