Donald Trump has withdrawn from all climate change, effective immediately.
In a statement to media, Mr Trump said by cancelling climate change now, the US would avoid decades of climate damage that could harm future generations.
“When you consider the terrible predictions from scientists on this – just terrible by the way – why would you continue with it? Why would you want to be a part of that. That’s just dumb”.
He pointed out that Hillary Clinton had planned to continue with climate change, albeit under reduced levels. “That would’ve been so bad. Really bad. We’re going to scrap it immediately”.
