With a spring in their step and emboldened by trademark optimism, Brazilian fans today said they’ll only be haunted by today’s 7-1 loss to Germany for the next half a century or so.
“I’ll admit, this was a shock – and it calls for a period of introspection and intense self-analysis. But we’ll move on quickly and be ready to approach the 2074 World Cup with a clear head,” a spokesperson said.
“A result like this is bound to have an impact, and we’ll be totally and utterly consumed by this for a little while, sure. By I think once we get past those first 14 or 15 World Cups, it will be as if it never happened”.
