A company you vaguely remember signing up to in 2006 has spent the last three weeks developing a new privacy policy for you to immediately delete.
Sources say you will spend a total of 1.2 seconds scanning the subject line before pressing delete on the policy which cost more than $145,000 in legal fees to update.
The policy – which is the 180th to arrive in your inbox this week – has been developed with rigorous attention to detail and contains 16 pages of text for you to immediately ignore.
The company is keen for you to know that your privacy is important to them, even though they know it’s not important to you.
