Sports person Jarryd Hayne has inked an impressive new deal that will see him play with NRL side the Parramatta Eels until at least the end of this afternoon.
The contract comes with a one-hour extension clause, subject to agreement from both parties.
Hayne said the long-term deal appealed to him because it allowed him to focus on the one club, rather than being distracted by other opportunities. “I’m very much an Eels man. I can see myself playing with this club for a long time. Well into this afternoon, perhaps even tomorrow if things pan out,” Hayne told reporter
Hayne plans to spend the first third of his contract warming up.
