Families around the country came together today to show their appreciation for hand-held machinery.
“Power tools do so much for us, without fuss, without fanfare. So it’s nice to have special day in September when we can say ‘thanks’ and ‘I love you,’” a spokesperson from Bunnings said, pointing out that last minute gift ideas were still available.
Cordless drills, power sanders, angle grinders and compound mitre saws, all at great low prices, were the centre of attention in living rooms across the nation.
Johnny, 6, from Newcastle, even got up early this morning to make a card and a special breakfast. “It’s what the day is all about,” his mother said.
